(Baltimore: Book Committee of the Methodist Protestant Church) The Methodist Protestant began publication in 1834[?] and ceased in 1838[?]. It was published weekly. Title history based on June 11, 1834 [new ser. v. 1, no. 1]. The newspaper continues the Mutual Rights and Methodist Protestant (Baltimore: 1831) and was continued by the Methodist Protestant & Family Visitor (Baltimore: 1838).
