History
(Baltimore: Isaac Munroe) The Baltimore Patriot and Mercantile Advertiser began publication in 1817 and ceased in March 1838. It was published triweekly. Title history based on August 19, 1817. It was also published as the Baltimore Patriot. The newspaper continues the Baltimore Patriot and Evening Advertiser (Baltimore: 1813) and was continued by the Baltimore Patriot and Commercial Gazette (Baltimore: 1838).
