The Bowie Blade New Carrollton Blade and the Crofton Blade began publication October 16, 1975 [v. 9, no. 39] and ceased July 12, 1979 [v. 13, no. 28]. It was published weekly. It was also published as the Bowie Blade, New Carrollton Blade and the Crofton Blade and Post-Times, July 5, 1979 and the Crofton Blade. The newspaper continues the Bowie Blade and New Carrollton Blade (Bowie: 1973) and was continued by the Bowie Blade (Bowie: 1979).
