The Baltimore Commerical Transcript began publication July 5, 1836 [v. 1, no. 1] and ceased in 1838[?]. It was published daily, except Sunday. The newspaper continues the Baltimore Daily Transcript (Baltimore: 1836) and was continued by the Baltimore Post & Commercial Transcript (Baltimore: daily).
