The Easton Gazette, and Eastern Shore Intelligencer began publication December 15, 1817[?] and ceased February 2, 1822 [v. 5, no. 217]. It was published weekly. Title history based on January 24, 1818 [v. 1, no. 7]. The newspaper continues the People's Monitor (Easton: 1809) and was continued by the Easton Gazette (Easton: 1822).
