History
(Easton, Talbot County: Samuel B. Beach) The People's Monitor began publication March 4, 1809 [v. 1, no. 1] and ceased in 1817. It was published weekly. The newspaper was continued by the Easton Gazette, and Eastern Shore Intelligencer (Easton: 1817). For additional information, see: Clarence S.
