History
(Baltimore: Sperry) The Baltimore Daily Whig began publication September 10, 1838 [v. 2, no. 1] and ceased 1842[?]. It was published daily, except Sunday. It was also published as the Baltimore Whig. Renumbering began in 1842 with [v. 1, no. 1]. The newspaper continues the Whig (Baltimore: 1838).
