Description

Selected papers from R. Garland Chissell, et al v. Mayor and City Council of Baltimore. This case was heard in Baltimore City Circuit Court No. 2 in 1948, case no. 29495A. The plaintiffs were represented by Donald Gaines Murray and Charles H. Houston. Collection includes copies of the bill of complaint, transcript of testimony and the lower court opinion. The case was appealed and decided by the Court of Appeals in 1949 as 193 Md. 535.
