Description
Materials relating to the life of Alexander Armstrong, III from Washington County. Armstrong practiced law in Hagerstown and Baltimore, later serving as State's Attorney for Washington County (1908-1914), and as President, Board of Supervisors of Elections of Washington County (1912-1916) before becoming Maryland's Attorney General (1919-1923).
