Description
Printouts, research, editorial, and biographical files relating to the Biographical Dictionary of the Maryland Legislature, vols. 1 and 2 created by the NEH grant-funded Legislative History Project. Collection also contains biographical information relating to Maryland politicians. Collection is divided into series as follows: LHP1, any figure holding political office between 1635-1789; LHP2, any figure holding political office between 1790-1867; LHP3, any figure holding political office between 1868-present. This collection includes materials relating to women legislators in the Maryland General Assembly.
