Description
A collection of eighty-one nitrate negatives depicting oblique aerial views of selected locations throughout Maryland (though several depict Tugwell Town, NJ). Some views include: approach to Baltimore harbor (1937); Conowingo Dam and surrounding area (1930); flood at Hancock (1936); Bethesda Naval Hospital (1940); University of Maryland College Park (1940). Several shots depict the Raskub Estate outside Centreville on the Chester River south of the mouth of the Corsica River (1929, this area is known as Pioneer Point and house was later named Heartfelt.) Raskub was one of the financial backers of the Empire State Building.

A selection of seventeen representative negatives have been printed out for patron viewing and may be circulated. Prints reside at 33/02/03/16
