Description
Manuscript daybooks of John Davidson, an Annapolis merchant. 3 volumes, loose pages all folio (13" x 8" inches)
Volume 1: May 1780 to March 1784
Volume 2: August 1789 to November 1791
Volume 3: December 1792 to September 1793

John Davidson (1737-1794) was the customs collector for the port of Annapolis, as well as a general merchant. Davidson's other account books are at the Maryland Historical Society.

Parchment manuscript, John Ray of Anne Arundel County, Last Will and Testament, 22 April 1692. Ray evenly divides 260 acres along the Magothy River to his daughters Sarah Ray and Mary Ray.
