copies of synopsis of Pinkney Whyte's argument for Maryland in the Black-Jenkins Arbitration; a copy of the Maryland Assembly's supplementary act on Potomac navigation that was sent to Patrick Henry and a copy of a Reverdy Johnson 1859 opinion (private?) entitled "The Riparian Rights of Virginia Proprietors on the Potomac River." George Washington University Law Library on microfiche.
I'll try to fit in a trip to the manuscript room sometime this week and let you

How did you get to this offprint? Did you find it on film at the LC? The
original seems to be at Harvard.
I think the opinion expressed in it is obviated by later court decisions, but
we'll see.
