Description
Southern High School oral history video interview with Vietnam War veteran, Master Sergeant Wayne McNeir of the United States Marine Corps. He is a career Marine who enlisted in December 1960 and retired in August 1982. He went on 4 tours in Vietnam. during his 1st tour in 1963-1964, he was apart of radio ground communication. His 2nd tour was 1967-1968 and he was there during the Tet Offensive. He went back to Vietnam in 1970 for his 3rd tour, then was sent to Japan, before returning to Vietnam for his 4th tour, which was for four months before he finally returned home in early 1972.
