Description
Black binder labeled “Governor’s Book” containing “Thank You” notes, newspaper
clippings, and other correspondences to the Honorable Governor William Donald
Schaefer between March 1989 and April 1989. A few correspondences include: An
invitation to The Eighteenth Annual Maryland National Guard Military Ball, Several letters
from members of the Maryland House of Delegates and Maryland Senate, and a letter
from Mayor Kurt L. Schmoke of the City of Baltimore.

letter from James Aloysius Hickey, the Archbishop of Washington; A letter from
Congressman Kweisi Mfume, U.S. Representative for Maryland’s 7th Congressional
District; and a letter from Israel Cohen, CEO of Giant Food Incorporated.
