A small suede lined box with lid painted to look like a locking chest bearing the writing,
“WDS TREASURE BOX” on the lid.
White stone brick engraved with “Schaefer” in a gothic script.
Granite plaque with the inscription, “”ON BEHALF OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE
UNITED STATES, PLEASE ACCEPT THIS FLAG IN RECOGNITION OF YOUR LOVED
ONE’S SERVICE” IN MEMORY OF ALL AMERICANS, ESPECIALLY THE MEN AND
WOMEN OF MARYLAND, WHO LOST THEIR LIVES AT THE HANDS OF
TERRORISTS WHILE SERVING IN THE ARMED FORCES OF THE UNITED STATES
CHILDREN OF LIBERTY, SERVANTS OF PEACE DEDICATED MAY 28, 1990”
featuring a metal casting on two arms holding a folded American flag.
Black binder containing correspondences to Governor William Donald Schaefer
responding to his request for help to aid in the damage caused by Hurricane Hugo hitting
Charleston in October of 1989. Many letters from citizens sending cheques, cash, and
prayers to help with the devastation that Hurricane Hugo caused Charleston, South
Carolina.
White binder containing photos and calendars of the activities of The Eco - Fun Summer
Camp of St. Katherine’s of Alexandria Episcopal Church in the Druid Heights Community
in the Summer of 1992.
Black binder presented to Governor William Donald Schaefer on July 2nd, 1993, with
appreciation from the students of Charles H. Hickey, Jr. school. The binder contains
photos of school events as well as signatures from many students there.
