Description
Black binder labeled “Governor’s Book” containing “Thank You” notes, newspaper
clippings, and other correspondences to the Honorable Governor William Donald
Schaefer in March of 1990. A few correspondences include: a letter from Steny H.
Hoyer, Chair of the Democratic Caucus of the House of Representatives; a letter from
Steven Muller, The President of Johns Hopkins University; and a letter from President
George H. W. Bush where the president wrote, “Let’s fish, though, some time.”

clippings, and other correspondences to the Honorable Governor William Donald
Schaefer from April of 1990 to May of 1990. A few correspondences include: A program
from the presentation of the Governor’s Mansion Fountain, A letter from President
George H. W. Bush thanking Governor William Donald Schaefer for his support on his
stance against broccoli, and a letter from National Football League (NFL) Commissioner
Paul Tagliabue.
