Description
Black binder labeled “Governor’s Book” containing “Thank You” notes, newspaper
clippings, and other correspondences to the Honorable Governor William Donald
Schaefer from December of 1990. A few correspondences include: a letter from Chief
Judge of the Court of Appeals of Maryland, Robert C. Murphy; a Christmas card from
President of the United States, George H. W. Bush; and a letter from The Governor of
The Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Michael S. Dukakis.

Schaefer from July of 1989 through August 1989. A few correspondences include: a
program from the rededication of the Maryland State Monument at Antietam National
Battlefield in Sharpsburg, Maryland, on July 1st, 1989; an invitation from Governor
William Donald Schaefer to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud,
Governor of Riyadh in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to a signing agreement and
luncheon at The Walters Art Gallery, a “Thank You” note from Ted Danson, from
“Cheers” the television show; and a “Thank You” note from Reba McEntire.
