Description
Albumen portrait (and ornate mat and gold frame), c. 1870;
Subject of portrait is Henrietta Crack (c. 1760-1875), formerly enslaved by the Jenifer family. Crack, reputed to have died at the age of 115, served as a nanny/nurse to sucessive generations of Jenifer children. After her emancipation she continued to live with the family. This portrait supposedly remained upon the living room wall of Long Island Farm, the family residence, until shortly before the property changed ownership in 2011.

Description
Box containing;
Photographs and albums. A number of photographs feature sports teams from Towson High School (1922-1926) or other school groups relating to the activities of Walter Jenifer. Some WWII era images, featuring uniformed servicemen, document a dinner of what may be members of the Judge Advocates Corp. The album is of late 1960s/early 1970s era and contains many images of the family cat, as well as a few photos of unidentified members of the Jenifer Family.
