Constitutional Convention of Maryland 1967. Committee on the Executive Branch, Research File, 1/33/2/91. "Constitutional Convention Delegate Proposal No. 4" reestablishing the office of lieutenant governor.
Proposal No. 32 that the lt. governor be an elected official of the state.
Proposal No. 118 that the lt. governor also be president of the senate.
Proposal No.168 that the governor nominate a person to fill a vacancy arising in the office of the lt. governor.
Proposal No. 212 that the lt. governor have the option to retain residency at his permanent resident prior to election as lt. governor for voting purposes.
